STOCKER'S STARTERS INC. POLICIES FOR: FREE SHIPPING RETAIL PURCHASES, FREE SHIPPING CORE RETURNS, CORE PURCHASE POLICY, WARRANTY INFORMATION AND RETURN MERCHANDISE FREE SHIPPING RETAIL PURCHASES If you purchase a new or rebuilt starter, rebuild kit (including RBK-L) we will pay for UPS ground shipping anywhere in the continental United States. Any other forms of shipment will be at the customers expense. FREE SHIPPING CORE RETURNS If you purchase a new or used starter from us we will give you the "core value" for your old starter and pay for the shipping if the core is shipped to us within 10 days of you receiving your new or rebuilt starter. We will include a shipping slip with your new or rebuilt starter purchase. Simply use that slip to return the core to us. Use the same box if possible. The core must be usable as described below. CORE PURCHASE POLICY Important: If you are not a retail customer who has purchased a starter from us, you must receive approval prior to shipping us any cores for the listed core value. No exceptions. The "core" is defined as a complete used starter. Once Stocker's Starters, Inc. receives your core in reasonable condition (determined by our inspection), we will buy your core based on it's current value. That value can change at anytime without notice based on our inventory. We will honor the values listed on our website for retail customers at the time of your purchase or on the date we receive you core. Stocker's Starters, Inc. will only purchase cores that are rebuildable. We will not buy cores with broken cases, wrong parts, missing parts, rust damage or that have exploded. However, if your core is less than perfect but is in decent shape we will assign a lower core value. O.E.M. (Original equipment manufacturer) only please. Cores must be shipped open. No CODs please! WARRANTY INFORMATION Rebuilt starters carry a 6 month limited warranty from the date of purchase. New starters carry a one year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Stocker's Starters, Inc will repair or replace the starter only. We will not be responsible for labor charges if you have it worked on. Incidental or consequential damages are NOT covered! Starters installed on rental vehicles not included. The following will NOT be covered under warranty: Starters with oil, water, or dirt damage, broken or badly worn shafts or drives, broken drive-end housings, burnt out starters, starters that are broken during installation, starters that have incurred any drive removal, tampering, dismantling, grinding, drilling, removal or addition of any parts. Any action that alters the original design of the starter will immediately void the warranty. Note: Use appropriate shipping material to prevent damages. Stocker's Starters, Inc. will not be held responsible for any damages incurred during shipping. RETURN MERCHANDISE Returns must be received within 15 days from the original date of purchase. Starters must be in their original condition. Stocker's Starters, Inc. will not accept returns on starters which have been installed. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Postage and handling not included. If you received free shipping with your purchase you will be charged the ground shipping fee to process the return. |
